The point of Team Engage is to engage students in the choice to stand firm for abstinence from sex, drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.
Each Team Engage student signs a contract, acknowledging their personal decision to remain abstinent from sex, drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. The Team Engage students are equipped with the accountability, the knowledge, and the leadership skills to uphold the contract and speak publicly about this lifestyle choice.
- We do this by training an adult leadership team that is confident in mentoring students, planning events, and dedicated to the direction and administration of Engage.
- We do this by developing relationships with every parent of a Team Engage student through quarterly meetings designed for training, encouraging, and partnering with parents as they raise their children.
- We do this by creating En-groups on high school campuses in Colorado Springs with the primary purpose of accountability.
- We do this by developing a Community Advisory Committee to advise the Engage program on possible recruits, community awareness, and updates for the program.
